Description

With the USB 3.0 Gigabit SFP adapter, you can add an SFP port to your notebook and connect directly to a fiber optic network via a suitable fiber optic transceiver. This fiber optic interface is the right choice for mobile use in conjunction with notebooks as well as for stationary use with desktop systems. This SFP adapter is also ideal for monitoring and troubleshooting applications in data and server centers, allowing you to access the fibre optic infrastructure directly and with full bandwidth. Uncomplicated to use, it offers a wealth of possibilities and is the right addition for most computers that do not have an SFP connection as standard. Thanks to the virtual drive, no driver installation from CD is necessary - just plug it in and get started. Power is also supplied via the USB 3.0 interface. If WLAN connections pose security risks and copper connections are too slow, a fiber optic connection offers the right solution for your network.
