The USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 Compact Industrial Hub, 4-port was developed for reliable use in industry and automation and expands existing systems with four high-performance USB A ports with data transfer rates of up to 5 Gbit/s. This makes the hub ideal for connecting sensors, cameras, control technology, input devices or external storage devices in professional applications. The connection to the host system is made via a USB-C port with screw lock and ensures a secure and stable connection in continuous use. The four USB A ports also have screw-locking ports, allowing connected cables to be reliably secured. This reduces the risk of unintentional connection interruptions and increases operational reliability, particularly in industrial environments that are prone to vibration. For a flexible power supply, the hub supports both a classic DC connection and an additional 2-pin terminal block for an alternative power supply. This allows the device to be easily integrated into different industrial installations and existing supply concepts. To increase operational safety and system stability, the hub has extensive protection functions on the input and output side. Protection mechanisms against undervoltage, overvoltage, overcurrent and short circuits reliably protect both the device itself and connected components from damage. In addition, ESD, surge, overtemperature and reverse polarity protection increase resistance to electrical influences and voltage peaks. The integrated soft start function reduces inrush current peaks and supports the long-term protection of the hardware. For easy integration into industrial environments, the hub has a practical wall mounting option and can therefore be installed in control cabinets, production facilities or industrial work areas to save space.
